What is Refresh?

Refresh Denver is a community of designers and developers working to refresh the creative, technical, and professional culture of Internet designers and developers in the Denver Metro area.In simple terms, Refresh Denver hopes to bring people together to share what they know through software and technology demonstrations, panel discussions, and open-ended Q&A sessions — driven by your creativity, knowledge and experience — we hope to bring members of the Denver Metro Area web community together to talk shop, have some fun, and strengthen the community in the process.

We are looking for people who share passions such as design, usability, and web standards. We believe that by promoting discussion with the best minds in the business we can help to raise the bar when it comes to web design and development in the Denver Metro area.

Get involved.

To start, sign up to receive emails and partake in our Google Group discussions. Then sign up for our email newsletter, which will keep you up-to-date on all our activities.Next, help us spread the word. Tell your co-workers, colleagues and friends, and write about us on your website’s and blogs.And, of course, attend our meetings, which have been held at various locations from 6:00-9:00 PM on the third Wednesday of the month (barring any scheduling conflicts). All events are entered in at Upcoming.org and tagged with refreshdenver.

Yes we have expenses. Some of those expenses include web hosting, email services, printing handouts, conference room rental fees and the costs for providing food and drink at each of our gatherings.Though we do our best to keep these costs low or free, Refresh Denver is still just getting off the ground and we’re currently in need of sponsors to help support and encourage this group’s growth.
