March 25 Meetup - Freelancing on the Web

This Wednesday’s Refresh Denver meetup will be a freelancing discussion, led by Brian Warren of Be Good Not Bad and Josh Pigford of Sabotage Media. In Brian’s words:
We hear a lot about people who are considering leaving their day jobs, already have given notice, or possibly have been laid off. Lots of those people are considering making a go of it as a freelancer, so we thought we’d tell a bit about our experiences and field some questions about it.
Josh and Brian would like the Refresh community to provide ideas on what you would like them to cover in their discussion. The have set up a brief intake form at http://tr.im/refresh_freelance to take your suggestions in advance of the meetup.
We’re still at Forest Room 5 this week - at 6 pm, as usual - but if you were at last month’s gathering you know it got a little crowded. If you have an ideas for a new home for Refresh, or if you have space to offer that’s free or cheap with lots of parking, give us a shout. And since the economy and finances seem to be on everyone’s mind lately, we expect this month’s meeting to be just as packed - so arrive early to get a good seat!
